Hoke County is a county in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is part of the Fayetteville, North Carolina, Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2010, the population was 46,952. Its county seat is Raeford.

Hoke County is located in North Carolina’s Coastal Plain region in an area originally inhabited by Saura (Cheraw) and Lumbee Indians. The county was formed from Cumberland and Robeson Counties in 1911-the third attempt (after failures in 1907 and 1909) to create a new jurisdiction for disaffected residents of the two counties.
As of the 2010 census, its population was 46,952. Its county seat is Raeford.
Hoke County is part of the Fayetteville metropolitan statistical area. The county is home to part of the Fort Bragg military reservation.
